This problem occurs when the support for VirtualGL has been enabled in NoMachine by means of command 'nxserver --virtualglinstall'.

For example, when uninstalling NoMachine on Fedora 39, the following file is left:
/etc/udev/rules.d/99-virtualgl-dri.rules

which results in conflicts with other programs.

As a workaround, remove such file manually and reboot.

A similar behaviour can occur also on other platforms, the leftover file can be different.
