The uninstall procedure of NoMachine is not executed properly on macOS Monterey 12.7

When uninstalling NoMachine server v8.10 or v8.11 on macOS Monterey 12.7, not all steps of the uninstall procedure may be executed and some files of the NoMachine installation may be left, leading to an inconsistent behaviour of the application.

NoMachine logs report errors about loading the uninstall.plist file, like:

NX> 700 Running: /bin/launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.nomachine.uninstall.plist.
NX> 700 Result: /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.nomachine.uninstall.plist: No such file or directory
Load failed: 2: No such file or directory.

or:

NX> 701 Running: /bin/launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.nomachine.uninstall.plist.
NX> 701 Result: Load failed: 5: Input/output error
Try running `launchctl bootstrap` as root for richer errors..

As a workaround, install a NoMachine package v8.9 or earlier, then uninstall NoMachine again.
