How to connect from macOS 15 with NoMachine Client 8.14 in LAN after a reboot
The release of macOS 15 Sequoia introduced new permissions for all applications accessing the LAN.
When the client is launched, the authorization to retrieve devices on the local LAN is requested.
Even if the user clicks on 'Accept', given permissions are ignored by the system.
NoMachine client v8.14 implements a solution that solves the problem of having to login and logout after having enabled permissions to use the local network (see the related TR, https://www.nomachine.com/TR09V11212).
However, because of the behaviour of macOS, this solution doesn't work after the mac is rebooted.
There are two possible workarounds to make the NoMachine client to work again after a reboot:
1) Disable and re-enable permissions for the local network:
Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network > Uncheck and check again NoMachine
or
2) Turn off and on your wifi, or trigger any network change that forces macOS to reload correctly the network access permissions
