On RHEL 10, creating a virtual desktop may not be possible

RHEL 10 dropped the /etc/X11/Xsession script used by NoMachine to start the desktop. A possible workaround is to specify to launch the desktop through D-Bus.

To do that, edit  /usr/NX/etc/node.cfg and change from:

DefaultDesktopCommand "/etc/X11/Xsession default"

to:

DefaultDesktopCommand "dbus-run-session gnome-session"

As an alternative, install another desktop environment compatible with X11 like MATE or XFCE.
