“Connection reset by peer” may occur when connecting to Wayland light weight desktop
Automatic configuration of the EGL capture library (libnxegl.so) may fail to integrate with the Wayland session startup on systems using LightDM.
In particular with Wayfire 0.9 (lightweight Wayland 3D Compositor) connections to the physical desktop may fail with “Connection reset by peer”.
In this condition, the EGL configuration key is enabled, but successful initialization of EGL capture is not established:
Enabling EGL capture with:
/usr/NX/bin/nxserver --eglcapture yes
EnableEGLCapture key set to: 1.
Cannot find any display manager script.
Relevant session logs may include:
EglGrabber: ERROR! Can't connect to socket '/tmp/nxegl.1000'.
EglGrabber: Error is '111' 'Connection refused'.
EglGrabber: ERROR! Unable to connect to interposer.
WaylandPoller: ERROR! Grabber creation failed.
