The Server Settings GUI shows the current status of services and configuration and lets you manage your server settings. 

You can access the Server Settings in two ways:

- Run the NoMachine GUI from your Programs or Applications.

- Clicking on the last icon button ('Preferences')

Or:

- Click on the Monitor,  i.e. on the !M icon in your system tray to open the menu.

- Click on 'Show the server status item' to open the Server Status GUI.

- Click on 'Server Preferences'  from that GUI.

To modify settings or start and stop services, you will need to provide the username and password of an administrative account on your machine. A quick look at the padlock on the bottom left will indicate whether 'Changes' are enabled or disabled
