This problem occurs when Wayland is enabled and the graphic card is NVIDIA GK106GLM [Quadro K2100M].

As a workaround, disable Wayland:

- Edit the etc/gdm3/custom.conf file to have:
WaylandEnable=false

- Restart gdm:
systemctl restart gdm
