What to do if NX Client 3.5.0 reports 'The NX service is not available' when connecting to NoMachine 4
NoMachine 4 (the free version) doesn't support connections by SSH. If you try to connect by using a client 3.5.0, you will get message:
The NX service is not available or the NX access was disabled on host 192.168.2.60.
We suggest to upgrade your NX Client 3.5.0 installation to NoMachine Enterprise Client 4. You can download the latest client version from:
http://www.nomachine.com/download-enterprise
Then create a new connection, it will use by default the NX protocol and will let you connect to NoMachine 4. Otherwise, keep your old session settings from 3.5.0, but edit the connection and select NX as protocol.
