How does copy & paste work from remote to local and vice-versa in version 3.x.x

NX uses the standard copy and paste commands as implemented on each of the supported operating systems as well as relying on the system clipboard, i.e. the way of copying locally to paste remotely inside the NX session  (and vice-versa) depends on the local and remote operating system. For example, on Linux, when a text is marked, it is also automatically copied to the system clipboard.

On Windows, instead, it is necessary to use the Ctrl+C key combination or run the copy function by clicking on the right button of the mouse. In a similar way, recent Linux versions support the paste operation by middle-clicking the mouse. On Windows, the paste operation can be done by the Ctrl+V key combination or by running the Paste action by clicking on the mouse right button.

Please also note that  NoMachine has made available the Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V key combinations inside an NX session running on Linux or Solaris.

This is a sample of the expected behavior:

- Copy text AAA from the locale Windows computer by ctrl-c or right click on the mouse button and 'copy' function.

- Text AAA can be pasted into the NX session running on a Linux system by either the mouse functionalities (including middle-clicking of the mouse when supported) or by means of Ctrl-V key combination implemented by NX.

- If text BBB is marked inside the NX session running on Linux, the remote clipboard is immediately filled with this content according to the Linux behavior.

- Text BBB can then be pasted inside the NX session as well as  to locale.
