This article applies to those NoMachine server products for Linux having support for virtual desktop sessions.
When the user creates a new virtual desktop, closes (i.e. disconnects) or reconnects a virtual desktop, the NoMachine server updates its session list accordingly. These entries are displayed in the output of the 'nxserver --list' and 'nxserver --history' commands.
Note also that some differences exist between running virtual desktop sessions in X11 vector graphics mode (previously known as “lightweight” mode), which is the default or with the X11 vector graphics mode disabled.
