First Maintenance Release of the NX 3.5.0 Client packages

Italy, June 22, 2011 - NoMachine makes available the first maintenance
release of NX Client 3.5.0. Among problems fixed by this new version
there are:
- The NX session can fail to start with "Connection timeout" error.
- The X server on Windows may close during cut&paste operations.
- Simultaneous printing of multiple documents may fail.

Download the NX Client packages
You can download the latest client suitable for your Operating System from the NoMachine Web site at the following URL:

Update
Instructions for Linux are intended to be run from command line
and use the sudo utility. If you don't have the sudo utility installed,
log on as superuser ('root') and run the commands without sudo.
Otherwise you can use the graphical package manager provided by your
Linux distribution. Instructions for RPM , DEB and tar.gz packages refer
to the 32 bit package (i386) and can be easily extended to the 64bit
package (x86_64).
EXE version for Windows
- Download the EXE
- Open the folder where you saved the package and install it by double clicking on the icon of the NX Client executable. The NX Setup Wizard will take you through the installation.
RPM version for Linux
- Download the RPM
- Change your working directory to the location where you saved the
package and install it by running from a console:$ sudo rpm -Uvh nxclient-3.5.0-xy.i386.rpm
DEB version for Linux
- Download the DEB
- Change your working directory to the location where you saved the
package and install it by running from a console:$ sudo dpkg -i nxclient_3.5.0-xy_i386.deb
TAR.GZ version for Linux
- Download the TAR.GZ in the /usr directory
- Change your working directory to the location where you saved the
package and install it by running from a console:$ cd /usr
$ sudo tar zxvf nxclient-3.5.0-xy.i386.tar.gz
PKG.ZIP version for Mac OS X
- Log on with an administrative account (an account that has the privileges to install software packages)
- Download the PKG.ZIP
- Open
the folder where you saved the package and uncompress the archive by
double clicking on the icon of the archive. Then double-click on the
icon of NX client .pkg package: the Installer will take you through the
installation.
SPARC.GZ version for Solaris
- Download the SPARC.GZ
- Change your working directory to the location where you saved the package
and install it by running from a console as root user:# gunzip nxclient-3.5.0-xy.sparc.gz
# pkgrm NXclient
# pkgadd -d nxclient-3.5.0-xy.sparc
