NoMachine 8.7.1 for iOS and Android now available
Luxembourg, July 27th, 2023
NoMachine today announces a software update for its Android and iOS client apps providing improvements and fixes for issues which were affecting the previous release.
Among the most important enhancements, NoMachine for Mobile, like NoMachine for the Desktop, switches to using H.264 by default, instead of using VP8, with better performance on all the devices we tested.
On iOS devices, NoMachine now hides the "Home indicator", an UI element used to access the device home and switch between applications that could prevent using some areas of the remote desktop. NoMachine now hides the Home indicator and, by following the iOS guidelines, users can swipe in from the bottom edge of the screen to show it again.
