Luxembourg, December 13, 2013 - NoMachine makes available today the new version 4.0.369 of its desktop and server products for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Please read below the complete list of Feature Requests implemented and Trouble Reports resolved since the last version.

TR12K04120 - Cannot enable changes in the Server Settings GUI

TR12K04114 - A virtual desktop that has been running for a long time hangs when trying to log out

TR10K03998 - Text becomes unreadable when resizing the client window of a virtual desktop session

TR12K04121 - Cannot connect by SSH and NoMachine login to server version 4.0.368

TR12K04100 - The virtual desktop session crashes when reducing the size of the client window

TR12K04122 - USB peripherals devices stop to work after a reboot of the Windows machine

TR12K04134 - Logs fill up disk space on Mac when the NoMachine Display Service is left running for days

Download NoMachine Packages

You can download the latest packages suitable for your Operating System from the NoMachine Web site at the following URL:

Or from your Customer Area if you are a registered customer.

Automatic updates

To update any of the NoMachine servers:

- Run the NoMachine GUI from your Programs Menu.

- Access the 'Change server settings' panel and the 'Software update' GUI from there.

- Then click on the 'Updates' button.

To update the NoMachine Enterprise Client:

- Access the 'Change player settings' panel and the 'Software update' GUI from there.

- Then click on the 'Updates' button.

Please follow instructions below if you still want to update your installation by package instead than using the automatic updates.

Package update

On Windows:

- Download and save the EXE file.
- Double click on the NoMachine executable file.
- As for the installation, the Setup Wizard will take you through all steps necessary for updating NoMachine.

On Mac OS X:

- Download and save the DMG file.
- Double-click on the Disk Image to open it and double-click on the NoMachine program icon.
- As for the installation, the Installer will take you through through all steps necessary for updating NoMachine.

On Linux:

You can use the graphical package manager provided by your Linux distribution or update NoMachine by command line by following instructions below.
If you don't have the sudo utility installed, log on as superuser ("root") and run the commands without sudo

RPM

- Download and save the RPM file.
- Update your NoMachine installation by running:

# rpm -Uvh <pkgName>_<pkgVersion>_<arch>.rpm

DEB

- Download and save the DEB file.
- Update your NoMachine installation by running:

$ sudo dpkg -i <pkgName>_<pkgVersion>_<arch>.deb

TAR.GZ

- Download and save the TAR.GZ file.
- Update your NoMachine installation by running:

$ cd /usr
$ sudo tar xvzf <pkgName>_<pkgVersion>_<arch>.tar.gz
$ sudo /usr/NX/nxserver --update

If you are installing Enterprise Client or Node run respectively:

$ sudo /usr/NX/nxclient --update
$ sudo /usr/NX/nxnode --update
