Attaching to a Wayland physical desktop could fail when the video device uses 10 bits per channel
This issue occurs when the DRM video device uses 10 bits per color channel. This is a case that not been seen before and support for 10 bits channels has to be added in the display agent. The problem has been reproduced on Rocky Linux 8 and Fedora 40.
When the problem occurs, and no other capture method works, the connection is aborted and in the node logs the following lines are printed:
nxagentShadowInit: ERROR! Unable to shadow a 30 bit display.
Error: Aborting session with '(EE) Failed to initialize mirror poller'.
Session: Aborting session at Wed Mar 1 12:50:39 2023.
