NoMachine Tray Monitor processes open constantly on Windows (UTF-16 unicode)
The NoMachine tray monitor is constantly opening new processes, leading the system to freeze. This happens on Windows systems with UTF-16 unicode set.
As a workaround, configure the system for UTF-8.
On Windows 11, open: Control Panel -> Clock and Region -> Region -> Administrative tab -> Change system locale button.
Then check option:
Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support
