High CPU usage connecting to Linux virtual desktops from Mac with M1 ARM processor
The problem occurs when connecting from Mac machines with ARM processors to Linux virtual desktops using the X11 vector graphics mode. Under such circumstances the CPU usage from the NoMachine player process is higher than expected. This is due to a few assembler routines, in the image post processing, that were not correctly optimized for ARM.
As a workaround, it is possible to disable X11 vector graphics mode for the virtual desktop sessions.
