BurpSuite v2025.4+ doesn't work in floating window mode

Burp added a setting in version 2025.7 that allows users to revert to the old title bar behavior. This allows the application to work properly in a NoMachine custom session in floating window mode:

When BurpSuite is run as custom session in floating window mode, the main window cannot be maximized or minimized or moved correctly. It keeps resetting itself to the center of the screen. The pop-out windows also do not display correctly and cannot be moved, making the program essentially unusable.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install a Debian or Kali Linux server with the Xfce Desktop Environment
2. Install BurpSuite on the Debian server from

Download the free community edition to reproduce the issue.
3. Install a NoMachine terminal server (e.g. Workstation) on the Debian server (tested on v8/v9)
4. Connect to the server from a on a Windows NoMachine client (tested with v8/v9), and create a new custom session to run the BurpSuite executable in floating window mode.
5. Open a "Temporary project in memory" with the default options.
6. Reproduce the issues.
