A write error on the UDP socket can cause the termination of the nxd service
When the issue occurs, the nxd log shows entries similar to the following ones:
7835 5891 2023-08-09 14:37:31 364.845 DaemonUdpRelay/DaemonUdpRelay: WARNING! Write to OUT#6 failed.
7835 5891 2023-08-09 14:37:31 364.956 DaemonUdpRelay/DaemonUdpRelay: WARNING! Error is 64 ‘Host is down’.
Such errors can be safely ignored and should not cause the termination of the nxd service.
As a workaround, try to disable UDP:
- edit the connection via UI
- go to the Configuration panel
- Uncheck option 'Use UDP communication for multimedia data'
