The automatic clean-up process of the NoMachine server’s history file can lead to different types of misbehavior.

The server periodically removes from the history file all sessions older than the number of days specified in the SessionHistory configuration key (default: 30 days).

When all entries must be removed from the history file, the following issues may occur:

Windows: the nxserver process terminates unexpectedly.

Linux: the history file is not cleaned up as expected and remains unchanged.
